From an early age, Carley Williams set out to become a performer and professional Singer. With a passion for musical theatre and classical music, Carley has created an elegant playlist including operatic greats, well known show tunes and some easy listening favourites. Carley originally trained in Opera and moved on to learn with Royal Academy of Music lecturer Justin Lavender. Carley completed her Advanced Performers Certificate in Singing with Guildhall and graduated a BA Hons Degree and Masters Degree in performance. With vast experience in singing and performing Carley now offers her services for events and weddings, whilst also offering private singing lessons. Carley is a classically trained singer with over 10 years experience singing professionally and 5 years of teaching singing to ages 6 and over, both privately, for choirs, and for music schools.
Carley trained in opera and has sung with some of the top professionals of the field, including Justin Lavender (Royal Academy of Music), Jon Andrews, David Habbin (Amici Forever) and Jonathan Prentice. She now sings for events and runs Stand Tall Theatre.
Carley's approach to teaching singing focuses on breath control, technical abilities, and a look at differentiating genres. She teaches classical, musical, jazz and pop. In the past she has taught for specific events or performances, or guided people through singing grades.
